Paul William Hawn, 83, of Indianapolis, IN, passed away on December 30, 2013. He was born in Shelbyville, IN on October 4, 1930 to Paul G. and Gladys B. (Sharp) Hawn. Paul graduated from high school in Boggstown, IN and attended Olivet Nazarene College. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was honorably discharged in 1955. Paul farmed for many years in Shelby County. He was a member of the Shelbyville Nazarene Church and attended Westview Christian Church in Indianapolis. In later years he owned and operated Point-to-Point Delivery. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Linda Sue (Mowrer) Hawn; children, Cindy Hawn Hall, Shannon Hawn (Kendall) Hadler, Randall Scott (Rita) Hawn, Debra (Ron) Turner, Kathleen (Keith) Evans; 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Paul is also survived by his sister, Sue Hasselbring. He was preceded in death by his parents; loving step-mother, Ruth E. (Pond) Hawn; brothers, Richard, Sam and Thomas Hawn; and former spouse, Judith (Wells) Hawn. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 3, 2014 from 4-8pm at Flanner and Buchanan –Speedway. Funeral services will be Saturday morning at 10am, also at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Miller Cemetery in Shelby County, IN with a graveside service Saturday at 1pm.
