It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Paul W. Vogt, 96 ½, of Indianapolis, Indiana on November 18th, 2025. Paul was born May 1st, 1929, to parents Paul M. Vogt and Cozy I. Vogt (Ward).
Paul was a dedicated and hardworking man, well-respected at Aspinall Association from 1957 up until retirement in 1998—a career that lasted 41 years. It is known that his dedication was not limited to his career; he also deeply loved his family.
In his spare time, Paul could be found tapping his feet to big band music. He was a big fan of artists like Glenn Miller and Frank Sinatra. Paul also enjoyed model railroading and traveling. But more than anything, Paul loved being a grandpa.
Paul is preceded in death by his parents; his brother Richard; sister Betty; and first wife Virginia Louise (Ray) Vogt, whom he married in 1950. Paul remained by her side until her passing in 2004.
Paul is survived by his wife Annaliese Vogt; his children Janis C. Sadlon, Richard T. Vogt I, and Randall P. Vogt (Lynnette);
Grandchildren Julie, Philip, Paul, Richard T. Vogt II, and Aaron;
Stepchildren Brenda “Debbie” Long, Bill Blamey, David Blamey (Lisa);
And Step-Grandchildren Anthony Moorehead, Alex Long, Adam Long;
Many great-grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; and many nieces and nephews.
Paul's Memorial Gathering will be held Tuesday, December 16th at Flanner and Buchanan - Washington Park East (10722 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN 46229). Visitation will be held from 1pm to 3pm, with Services beginning at 3pm.
