Paul Anson Thomas, 76 of North Salem Indiana, passed away on May 31, 2025. He was born on March 2, 1949, to the late Gale (Lawler) Thomas and Warren A Thomas. He was a graduate of the University of Indianapolis and Thorntown High School. Paul married Carol TenEick on June 10, 1972. He was a member of the Indiana National Guard form 1971 – 1977. He was a member of West Bridge Church in Danville. He previously attended Speedway Baptist and Parkside Church in Brownsburg.
Paul worked for over 40 years as a CPA in Hendrick’s County. He enjoyed astronomy and racing. He was a loving husband and father. His grandsons were the joy of his life. For the past 23 years he has fought Parkinson’s disease but is now in heaven and completely cured of the disease. Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Carol Thomas, of North Salem; daughter Lisa Burgin (Bret) of Lebanon; brother Kent Thomas (Jill) of Colfax. He had two grandsons, Brandon and Barrett Burgin. His parents Warren and Gale Thomas and an infant brother, Steven Ray Thomas preceded him in death. Visitation will be held at Flanner Buchanan – Speedway Thursday June 5, 2025, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm with additional visitation Friday June 6 from 10:00 am until the funeral service time at 11:00 am. Burial will be at South Cemetery in Danville, IN immediately following the service.
