Paul T. Benton 89,Indianapolis, passed away peacefully March 27, 2016. Paul was born on July 19,1926 to the late Luther (Pop) and Hazel (Turner) Benton. Brother to the lateLuther Jr.

Paul married the loveof his life Hilde Blatz,on May 19, 1951. Remembered with love by his children,Bryce Allen (deceased), Charity (Scott) and Herb (Susan). Grandchildren; Amanda(Steve), Elliott (Jesep), Samantha, Emily and Jenny. Great grandchildren, Wyatt, Adeline andCooper. Brothers and sisters in law; Leo and Marthann Blatz; Margie BlatzNewman Forrester, Marie Blatz Reid, Betty Blatz Walker, Jim and Eileen Blatz,Joe and Sherry Blatz and numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and greatnephews.

Paul served in theU.S. Navy and he attended Cornell, Bucknell and Princeton Universities andgraduated from De Pauw University. He was employed by Health and HospitalCorporation and L.S. Ayres.

Paul was an avidreader and always loved to talk books and politics. An amazing gardener, theirflowers and vegetables were admired by many.

Friendsmay call Thursday, March 31, 2016 from 10am-12pm at Flanner andBuchanan-Washington Park North 2706 Kessler Blvd West Drive Indianapolis,Indiana 46228. Prayer service willfollow at 12pm, and burial will follow prayer service at Holy CrossCemetery. In lieu of flowers memorialcontributions may be made to the Humane Society of Indianapolis.
