Paul William Herring

Paul William Herring of Indianapolis, IN passed away unexpectedly on August 8, 2026, at 80 years of age. He was born September 28, 1945, in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Oscar William and Lillian Marie (Hall) Herring. Paul was a graduate of Purdue University and worked with Electronics and Computers at JFW Industries. He enjoyed working with young people and was a Senior Advisor for the Boy Scouts of American where he too was a member of their Century Club and the Order of the Arrow. Paul also enjoyed hiking and was a member of the Indy Hiking Club. He is survived by his niece, Tammy (John) Languell, and his nephew, James Julian. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his great grandmother, Edith Cox, his nephew Scott Julian, and his sister, Janet Carney. Graveside services will be held on Friday, September 18, 2026, 1:00 pm at Floral Park Cemetery. Flanner Buchanan Floral Park is assisting the family with these arrangements.
