Paul F. Pridemore,
86 of Indianapolis, went to be with his Lord on Monday, August 12, 2013. He was born on June 13, 1927 in Knoxville, TN as the oldest of 4 children to Tyler and Nellie Angeline (Clark) Pridemore. Paul served his country honorably in the U.S. Army and retired in 1984 from Chrysler as the Fire and Safety Chief at their Shadeland Plant. He was an avid gardener of flowers and vegetables, enjoyed woodworking and collecting and repairing clocks. Paul's most enjoyable time after retirement was spent with his wife on their farm in Danville. He and his wife, Marie, were former members of Kingsway Christian and Chapel Rock churches.
He is survived by his siblings, Lois Ford, Joe (Edna) Pridemore and Evelyn Hill; along with many nieces and nephews. Paul was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Ella Marie (Lawson) Pridemore who went to be with her Lord in 2012.
Funeral services will be held at Flanner and Buchanan – Speedway on Friday, August 16, 2013 at 1pm, with visitation 1 hour prior to the services. Burial will follow in West Ridge Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or to a charity of the donor's choice.
