Paul Eugene Sherron

Paul Eugene Sherron, age 97 of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Saturday morning, August 19, 2023 at his residence.

Paul was born on March 25, 1926 in Indianapolis, Indiana, a son of Joe and Elizabeth (Neal) Sherron.

He married Martha Sherron on October 19, 1946 in Indianapolis.  She has preceded him in death on October 9, 2017.

He is survived by his children: Stephen, Deborah, Anita, Joseph, and Eric.

16 Grandchildren.

24 Great grandchildren.

3 Great greatgrandchildren.

He is he preceded in death by: Jodie and Thomas

Paul attended elementary public school#82 in Indianapolis.

He attended Thomas Carr Howe High School and graduated in the class of 1944.

He served his country from 1944-1946 in the US Army during World War II.

He attended Southeast Baptist Tabernacle Church in Indianapolis for many years.

Paul greatly enjoyed working out and exercise.

He also enjoyed watching and following sports, the Indy sports teams and playing softball.

Paul retired after 42 years with the Indianapolis Police Department.

A visitation will be held on Friday, August 25, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon at the Southeast Baptist Tabernacle Church, located at 6835 Shelbyville Road – Indianapolis, Indiana – 46237.

The funeral service for Paul will follow at 12:00 Noon also at Southeast Baptist Tabernacle Church.

Following the funeral service at the church, a procession to Washington Park East will take place where Paul will be laid to rest with his wife Martha.
