Paul Edward Geyer, Sr.

Paul Edward Geyer, Sr., 79, Carmel, passed away on August 11, 2023. Paul was born in Mishawaka, IN to Lloyd and Pauline Geyer. Paul graduated from Penn High School in Mishawaka in 1962, and attended Indiana University South Bend, where he graduated with a degree in marketing. He met the love of his life, wife Geraldine (Gerry), on a blind date in 1965, and the two were married in 1966. Paul and Gerry enjoyed a 57-year loving marriage. Paul was incredibly proud of attending IU and adored his children and grandchildren. Paul was an avid photographer, loved to travel, enjoyed good food and wine, and loved to tell stories to everyone he met. Paul never met a stranger, and it made him a successful salesman and plant president in the industries of Elkhart for more than 40 years. Later in life he served as a Trustee on the Baugo Township Board in Elkhart County and was President of the Board for four years. Paul was preceded in death by his wife, Gerry, his parents, sister Sylvia, and brothers David and Dean. Survivors include children Cheri (Marc) Boudouris, Paul Geyer Jr. (Rebecca), grandchildren (Nathan Geyer, Sam Geyer, Charlie Geyer, and Noah Boudouris). Memorial contributions can be made to the Indiana University Foundation and the Alzheimer’s Association. A visitation and celebration of life will be held on August 19th from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at 6040 Crows Nest Drive, Indianapolis, Indiana.
