Paul E. David, 87, of Greenfield, Indiana went to be home with the Lord on Friday, May 18, 2018 surrounded by his loving family.

Paul was born May 2, 1931 in Big Stone Gap, Virginia to the late James and Etta David.

He was an active member of Bethel Baptist Church. He loved all forms of aviation and was a founding member of the Northeast Side Taildraggers (NeST) Radio Controlled Aviation Club in Noblesville, Indiana.  Most of all Paul enjoyed every moment he could spend together with his family.

Paul is survived by his wife of almost 40 years Jenny David; children Paula David, Jennifer Thompson (Mike), James David (Therese), Greg David, and P. Steven David (Pamela); daughter-in-law Vicki David; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, two nephews and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his son Mark David, sister Violette Robertson, and niece Robyn Sams

Visitation will be held Monday, May 21 from 4 to 8 PM at Bethel Baptist Church, 1610 S State St, Greenfield. Funeral Services will be held 11 AM Tuesday, May 22 with visitation 10 AM until the time of service at the church.  Entombment Washington Park East Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Bethel Baptist Church.
