Paul W. Davis,
93, passed away on January 4, 2015. Paul was born on December 13, 1921, in Salem, Indiana, the youngest of five children of John H. and Grace Bundy Davis. Paul married Lois Storms of Greensburg, Indiana, on August 25, 1946. They had celebrated 67 years of marriage at the time of her death in November of 2013. Paul and Lois located to Indianapolis and raised their two daughters while he worked for several construction-related companies. After being bored with retirement, Paul, Lois, and their partners founded Indy Glass, Inc. Together they built a very successful business over the next twenty years, retiring at age 85. Paul was a veteran of the Army Air Corps during WWII. He was also a past member of the Murat Shrine and the Millersville Masonic Lodge. Paul was preceded in death by his parents, wife Lois Storms Davis, brothers Lee and Gene Davis, and sister Mary Wallace. He is survived by sister Jane Skillen, daughters Melinda Armstrong (Tim), and Cynthia Remesnik (Carl), grandchildren Lesley Eberle, Ben Guscott, and Kelly Guscott; and two great-gandchildren. Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at Flanner and Buchanan – Broad Ripple, 1305 E. Broad Ripple Ave., Indianapolis. Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, January 8, 2015 at the Funeral Center. Interment will follow in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Contributions may be made in his name to the Salvation Army or U.S.O.
