Paul Arakel Bogigian 97 of Greenfield, IN formerly Indianapolis died November 10, 2011. Paul was born October 18, 1914 in Indianapolis to Arakel and Arpen (Blodjian) Bogigian. Paul was a graduate of Shortridge High School Class of 1931. Paul was a active member of Fairview Presbyterian Church where he was a Deacon, Elder, Sunday School Teacher for 17 years, served on the Pastor Search Committee and Building Committee before he transferred his membership to the First Presbyterian Church in Greenfield, IN. He began his printing career in the mid 1930's and became a Co-Owner of Weimer Typesetting Company in Indianapolis where he retired in 1981. He was former president of The Indianapolis Club of Printing House Craftsman and was a lifetime member of the International Typographical Union Local #1 and a member of the Art Director Club. He was a member of North Park Masonic Lodge and the Scottish Rite. Paul was preceded in death by his wife Margaret Alberta (Jameson) Bogigian and Jane Ann Wood Bogigian, a grandson David Paul Bogigian and two siblings Roxy Leiserson and Herant Bogigian. Calling will be held on Tuesday November 15, 2011 at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center Broad Ripple 1305 East Broad Ripple Ave Indianapolis, In 46220 beginning at 10 AM to Noon followed by a Funeral Service at Fairview Presbyterian Church 4609 North Capitol Ave Indianapolis, In 46208 at 1:30 PM. Paul is survived by his sons William Paul (Mary Sue) Bogigian, David Jameson Bogigian, Richard H (Rosemary) Bogigian, Robert Grover (Ellen Manolopoulos) Bogigian, grandchildren Thomas William Bogigian, Cara Lisa Bogigian, Brian Kelly Bogigian, Simon A. Bogigian, Emily J. (Michael) Phillipy, Margaret A. (Jacob) Robinson and Anne K. Bogigian and great grandchildren Patrick Owen Phillipy, Charlotte Grace Phillipy, Ruby Justine Robinson, and Brock Arakel Robinson and a brother Harold Bogigian. Memorial contributions may be made to A.G.B.U. Armenian General Benevolent Union 55 East 59th Street New York, NY 10022-1112. Entombment will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.
