Age 70, of Indianapolis, passed away June 27, 2016. Patty was born in Beech Grove, IN on October 7, 1945 to the late, Roy Louis and Laverne Elizabeth (Plummer) Abel. She graduated from Mt. Comfort High School in 1963 and briefly attended Ball State University. Patty retired from Crossroad Farms Dairy (The Kroger Company).

Patty was beloved by family and friends. She was a devoted Mother to her daughter, Malusa and son, Tony. Patty was known for her warm hugs, loving smiles, and strong supportive shoulders for all her family and friends. Patty enjoyed gardening, and would anxiously await the blooming of her flowers to the ripeness of her tomatoes. Patty was an avid birdwatcher who liked to sit and see how many different kinds of birds would frequent her yard. She especially enjoyed the hummingbirds.
