Patsy Jo Walker

Patsy Jo Walker 78, Indianapolis, IN, passed away peacefully on December 17, 2013. Patsy was born on April 28, 1935 to the late Clarence and Ruth Foster in Burnside, KY. Patsy loved to paint and was an avid home gardener. Patsy owned Cherokee Tole Studio and taught art classes for 35 years. Patsy worked at Wal-Mart in the garden department for many years. Patsy married Thomas Walker on January 30, 1961. Patsy is survived by her husband, Tom; sons Raymond Kennedy and Clarence Dale (Cheryl) Kennedy; grandchildren, Patrick (Vicki) Sullivan, Michael Kennedy, Paul Kennedy, Ryan (Iris) Kennedy, Brittany (Brad) Knick, Ashley Johnson and 6 great-grandchildren. Patsy is also survived by her brother, Thomas (Loretta) Foster and 2 nephews, Grover and Leonard (Jo Ellen) Foster and 2 great nephews; aunt, Maryellen Lloyd; cousins, Eddie (Linda) Barnes, Jimmy (Louise) Lloyd, Sally (Richard) Gebhardt and Fiona (Larry) Kilpatrick. Patsy's life will be celebrated in a calling at Flanner and Buchanan – Decatur 5463 Kentucky Ave. on Friday, December 20, 2012 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 21, 2013 at Flanner and Buchanan. Burial, Lincoln Memory Gardens, Whitestown, Indiana.
