Patsy Elizabeth (Wright) Leep Newland

Patsy Elizabeth (Wright) Leep Newland 74 of Martinsville, IN passed away June 13, 2014. She was a cashier for Kroger's in Mooresville, IN for over 25 years and prior to that the Manager of the Ed Shock's Toy and Hobby Shop in Eagledale neighborhood. She was an active member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Indianapolis. She was very talented and made many handicraft items in her lifetime and dearly loved the Soap Opera "Days of Our Lives" and often would review the details of the show that day with her daughter, especially if she missed that episode. She is survived by her loving children, Richard Allen Newland, Kendra Steele, Steven Leep Newland, Angela Linares, Gina (Leep) Holland, 11 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, brother, Michael Wright and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husbands in 1967 Myron Leep and in 2013 Billie Ray Newland along with her brother and sister, Leslie Wright and Rosie Smith. Services will be held Thursday , June 19, 2014 11 AM in Flanner and Buchanan-Decatur Twp. With visitation there Wednesday June 18th 4-8 PM. She will be laid to rest at IOOF Cemetery in Waverly, IN.
