Patricia Umbaugh

Patricia (Hildreth) Umbaugh passed away June 13, 2015. Born in June 1936 - an identical twin with her Sister, Pam, to parents Reg Hildreth and Margaret Fisher Hildreth, in Chicago, IL 'Patty' as many friends called her, spent many happy years at her home on Lake Wawasee - enjoying an active schedule of social gatherings with friends and family. She spent her later years in Indianapolis where she worked for Ed Strange Interiors - a job she enjoyed. She was an avid reader, loved the arts (with a special passion of the Asian arts), swimmer and movie-goer and loved to be around good friends and family when it was "after 5 somewhere!" that included her glass of chardonnay. Her many friends were a source of companionship and fun. Her family was her world including her Son, David. Her favorite topic was her Grandchildren! She was a loving, caring and fun 'Gram Pat' and took every chance she could to spend time with them. She is survived by her twin, Pam (Scott) and beloved nephews, great nephews and nieces, Sister Sally, Son David (Cindy), Grandchildren, Nick, Elise, Meryl and Marisa, her step-children, Kris Peters, Joe and John Umbaugh and her many cousins and extended family. The family would like to extend their thanks to the many friends and extended family who have supported Pat over the past 3 1/2 years and special thanks to the caring people at Zionsville Meadows. Funeral Services will be held at Flanner & Buchanan-Zionsville on Thursday June 18, 2015 at 2 pm with calling beginning at Noon and burial immediately following in Zionsville Cemetery.
