Patricia Ann Terhune

With great sorrow we announce the passing of Patricia Ann Terhune. She passed away unexpectedly in the comfort of her home on September 23, 2023 at the young age of 60. 

Patti is survived by her loving parents Jim Taylor (Gloria) and Virginia Wilson. She is deeply cherished by her children Jeremy Dewitt (Jessica), Miranda Edwards (Antonio), and Destiny Terhune-Snead (Reannon) and her three grandchildren, Audrianna, Parker, and Landon. Her memory lives on with her devoted sister Cathie Taylor (Angie), her partner Ron Lang, her former husband Tim Terhune and his family, and many other loving nieces and nephews. 

Patti is preceded in death by her brother, nephew Jonathan Hess, and other beloved members of the Taylor, Strong, and Terhune family. 

Patti was born on April 21, 1963 in Plainfield, Indiana. She spent the majority of her life devoted to raising her children and nurturing her family. Patti graduated from North Central High School in 1981 and later pursued her dream career as a nurse, where she cared for her patients with passion and dedication. She committed over ten years in service with the Great Banquet Ministry, sharing the light and love of Jesus.  Patti found freedom and peace in sandy beaches, sea-side vacations, and the cathartic energy of music, spending her last few years with carefree abandon, enjoying life to the fullest. She was filled with an unrestrained joy and was loved by everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Above all, Patti adored her family, and her commitment to their happiness will be her legacy.  

Her family would like to invite you to celebrate her life at the Flanner Buchanan-Floral Park  on Saturday, September 30, 2023, visitation from 12:00-2:00 pm, with a service at 2 pm.
