Patricia Stevens

Patricia J. Stevens, 82, married for 57 years to the late Henry E. Stevens, passed away in her sleep on Tuesday, March 1, 2011. She is survived by her brother Weldon Forrest (Bernie), her five children, Roger Stevens (Jane), John Stevens (Sandy), Cindy Stevens-Tollar (Mike), Diane Strahl (Jim), David Stevens (Beth), 14 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. The youngest of nine children, Patricia was born and raised in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. She was an exceptional young athlete, participating in numerous sports. She was also an excellent seamstress, an accomplished artist, and a certified Master Gardener. A kind, gentle person with a quick wit and a pretty smile, she will be missed by everyone who met her. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, March at 1 pm at Immaculate Heart Of Mary Catholic Church. Friends may call from 12 noon to 1 pm at the church. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center - Broad Ripple.
