Patricia Gail Simmons

Patricia Gail “Patty” Simmons of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on June 4, 2025, at 72 years old. She was born in Greenville, Tennessee on November 29, 1952, to the late Walter Ball and Shirley (Fawbush) Markich. Patty was very artistic and enjoyed handicraft projects as well as crocheting, and diamond painting. She especially enjoyed spoiling her fur babies, Bella and Poncho. Patty loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was loved by many and will be missed. Patty is survived by her husband, Kenny E. Simmons, whom she married June 19, 1990, her children, Richard Surber, Jaime Sabo, Angelia (Nathan) Lane, Dakota Simmons, her grandchildren, Austin, Tanner, Hunter, Christian, Remington, Waylon, Ruger, Sawyer, Colton, Vera, Ryder, and Riverlyn. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by 2 granddaughters, Natalia, and Raelynn. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, 10:00am-2:00pm at Flanner Buchanan Decatur Township with the Funeral Service immediately following there at 2:00pm. Patty will be laid to rest at Floral Park Cemetery in Indianapolis, Indiana.
