Patricia 'Pat' Joan Heilman

Patricia Joan "Pat" (Sparrow) Heilman 79 of Indianapolis died on May 16, 2014. Pat was born on April 28, 1935 in Evansville, IN to Kermith Hicks and Ruth Louise (Lange) Sparrow. Pat graduated from I.U. Bloomington in 1961 with her degree in English Literature and following that she became a Children's Librarian in Indianapolis. She retired from the Eagle Branch Library at 34th and Georgetown Road in 2005. She was an active charter member of Living Christ Lutheran Church in Plainfield, IN. Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday May 20th at Flanner and Buchanan-Speedway at 2 pm with calling one hour prior to the service. Pat is survived by her husband Walter Henry Heilman who she married on August 19, 1962 in Evansville, IN. She is also survived by her son Jon Eric (Suzy) Heilman and her daughter Jill Lynn (Joel Stein) Heilman, three grandchildren Nicholas, Hannah and Taryn Heilman, twin brother Donald (Jacqueline) Sparrow and sisters Marty Kello and Ruth (Jim) Alewine.
