Patricia 'Pat' Ann Rickelman

Patricia (Pat) Ann Mears Rickelman, 74, of Indianapolis, IN peacefully passed away on November 22, 2012. She was born on June 27, 1938 to Charles and Angela (Litzelman) Mears and was a graduate of St. John's Academy. Pat worked for the Indiana State Board of Health and the Indiana Convention Center, and retired from the Indianapolis Airport Authority. During her retirement years, she was very active as a volunteer with the St. Vincent DePaul Society, acting as the phone coordinator for over 10 years. Pat was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church. She loved playing card games, working the daily newspaper puzzles, watching TV, and talking on the phone. Pat is survived by her husband, Ronald P. Rickelman; children, David M. (Nancy) Rickelman, Rhonda S. (Tom) Gerding, Daniel J. (Tracie Pruett) Rickelman, and Steven E. (Sherrie) Rickelman; grandchildren, Brie Gerding, and Shelby and Matt Rickelman; sister, Sheila (John) Monfreda; and brother, Jack (Cathy) Mears. She was preceded in death by her parents and her infant brother, Gerald Mears. Visitation will take place from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm on Tuesday, November 27, 2012, at St. Ann Catholic Church, 6350 S. Mooresville Road, Indianapolis, IN. A Memorial Mass will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 1, 2012 at St. Ann's. In lieu of flowers, Pat asked that donations be made in her memory to St. Ann Catholic Church or the St. Vincent DePaul Society.
