Pat was a loving mother figure to everyone including her three daughters, three grandsons, three granddaughters, twelve great grandchildren, and a great, great grandson. In this family is also included an “adopted family” including daughter, granddaughter, and three great-grandchildren. She was a nurturing provider to family and the community, volunteering her time and resources to food pantries and other organizations. Whether organizing family get-togethers or community events, Pat enjoyed sharing food and entertainment with everyone around her.
After retiring from Sears, Pat and her husband, Horace, relocated to Monon, Indiana where they enjoyed spending time boating on the lake. Pat could not be still for long periods so she worked for 16 years at Indiana Beach. She loved cats and spoiled hers as much as her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Pat was also a collector of many things including angels, snow babies, mugs, magnets and keychains from their many trips, but most importantly friends and family.
