Patricia “Pat” Ann Klipsch, 83, passed away peacefully on May 12, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on August 18, 1942, in South Bend. Raised in Muncie. Pat graduated from high school in 1960 before attending Purdue University. After college, her adventurous spirit led her to Los Angeles and Chicago before she ultimately returned home to Indianapolis, where she spent the last 40 years living on Geist Reservoir.
Pat found joy in life’s simple pleasures — reading on the porch, watching sailboats drift across the water, and gathering with family and friends. She was a lifelong traveler who explored the world with curiosity and always found her way, even if she occasionally got lost along the journey. Her travels took her to every U.S. national park, lighthouses from Maine to Georgia, and even to India, where she rode elephants and met Mother Teresa.
Faith and service were central to Pat’s life. She was a devoted member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church, where she participated in Soul Kitchen and numerous charitable activities. For more than 30 years, she faithfully participated in a Bible study group that became a treasured source of friendship and fellowship. She also volunteered her time at Community Hospital North and St. Vincent Hospital, always giving generously to others.
On fall Saturdays, Pat could often be found cheering alongside her family at Ross–Ade Stadium, proudly supporting Purdue football — despite being raised a Notre Dame fan through her grandfather’s friendship with legendary coach Knute Rockne. Her infectious laugh, adventurous spirit, deep faith, and unwavering love for her family will be dearly missed.
Pat is survived by her brother, JT; her beloved sons, Michael (Paula) and Stephen (Lisa); and her five grandchildren, Ryan (Danielle), Matthew, Erin, Zachary, and Leo.
Services for Mrs. Pat will be held at Holy Spirit Parish at Geist (10350 Glaser Way, Fishers, IN 46037). Visitation will be 9:30am to 11:00am, with Funeral Mass to immediately follow at 11:00am.
