Patricia J. Pratt

Patricia J. Pratt, 84 of Indianapolis was born May 30, 1931 and died on October 5, 2015. She was born in Indianapolis, to Paul and Marceta Christenberry. After graduating from Howe High School, she worked at Western Electric until her retirement. She was a member of the Western Electric Pioneers Club. Pat was a member of Old Bethel United Methodist Church for over 45 years where she was involved with the food pantry program. She loved to travel and take cruises. She volunteered at Community Hospital East and loved her dogs. Because of her love of animals, she supported Home for Friendless Animals. Pat is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Carl and her son-in-law, Danny Sankowsky. Surviving to cherish her memory are her daughter, Lorri Sankowsky, brother, Michael (Judy) Canfield, grandchildren, Caitlin (Matt) Moorman and Daniel Sankowsky as well as nieces, Carrie and Megan. Friends may visit from 4 to 7 PM Thursday, October 8, 2015 PM at Flanner and Buchanan – Memorial Park, 9350 E. Washington St., Indianapolis. The funeral service will be held at 10 AM Friday at Old Bethel United Methodist Church, 7995 E. 21st St., Indianapolis, IN 46219.
