Patricia Harrig

Patricia A. Harrig 87, of Indianapolis, passed away on May 7, 2015. She was a registered nurse and had worked as a volunteer for 25+ years at Community North Hospital. She was a graduate of the University of Detroit. She was a charter member of St. Pius X Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald R. Harrig and granddaughter, Victoria Chambers. She survived by her children, Donna (Frank) McGrath, Katherine (Thomas) Shallington, Cynthia (Michael) Chambers, Reed Harrig, and Michelle (Rick) Hall, nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 19, 2015 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Flanner and Buchanan-Oaklawn Memorial Gardens(Conner Suite). Services will be Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at 1 p.m. with calling one hour prior at St. Pius X Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the donor's favorite charity or the American Cancer Society.
