Patricia A. Gordon

Patricia “Pat” Gordon, 87, was born on March 14, 1939, in Fremont, Indiana, and passed away on Thursday, September 3, 2026, at Morrison Woods in Muncie, Indiana.

Pat was raised on a farm in rural Steuben County. After graduating high school, she began her career as a switchboard operator for GTE. In April 1961, she married the love of her life, Gene Gordon, and together they built a life filled with devotion, family, and faith. Their marriage spanned 65 years.

Pat will be remembered most for her love for her family and her church. She enjoyed gardening, cake making and baking, sewing, crafting, and traveling with Gene across the country on their Goldwing motorcycle. As snowbirds, they also cherished time spent in St. Augustine, Florida, in their RV.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Knotek and Veronica Knotek; her sister, Rita Knotek; her brother, Wenn Knotek; and her granddaughter, Veronica Wasik.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Gene Gordon; her children: Alan (Kate) Gordon, Chris (Sheri) Gordon, Tim (Tina) Gordon, and Kerry (Doug) Harris; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Pat will be from 10 am - 12 pm, on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at Flanner Buchanan - Hamilton Memorial Park (Prairie Waters), 1480 Westfield Road, Westfield, Indiana 46062, with a funeral service immediately following at 12 pm. Burial will be at Marion National Cemetery, in Marion, Indiana.
