Patricia Cassady Castell

Patricia Cassady Castell, 80, of Carmel IN and Longboat Key FL passed away Monday, April 25, 2016. Patricia was born in Fort Wayne, IN to the late Raymond and Vivian Cassady. She was a graduate of South Side High School, Ft Wayne and Indiana University.

Patricia was a flight attendant for Eastern Air Lines prior to marriage in 1960 to John S Castell. After living in Newfoundland while John served in the USAF the couple moved to West Lafayette, IN where they resided until moving to Carmel. In recent years, winters were spent on Longboat Key, FL.

Patricia was active in the Lafayette Country Club where she played golf and was active in several bridge clubs.

Patricia is survived by her husband, John of 56 years; children, Jeff (wife, Jane) of Fishers, Mark of West Lafayette, and Kelly of Indianapolis; grandsons Jack and Sam Castell; brother, Steven (wife, Barbara) Cassady of Ft Wayne.

A private memorial service for the immediate family will be held Tuesday at 1:00 at Flanner and Buchanan-Carmel followed be a Celebration of Life from 3:00 to 7:00 at 12050 Landover Lane, Fishers.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Dr. Lawrence Einhorn, Oncology Department, Simon Cancer Center, Indianapolis.
