Patricia Ann Christensen passed away on June 26, 2022 after a courageous fight for over 20 years with an autoimmune disorder.
Patricia was born in Marion, Indiana on November 16, 1950 to the late Jesse J. and Mildred I. (nee Phares) Coffey.
Pat graduated from Oak Hill High School in 1969. She spent her career as an interior decorator and later as a travel agent. She married the love of her life, Robert, on May 7, 1983. She was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church, the Red Hat Society, and a volunteer for Meals on Wheels.
She is survived by her husband Rob Christensen; son, Brian M. Poe; grandchildren: Rebekah Green, Brian Poe Jr, and Ethan; sister, Deborah “Debbie” Harlan; half-sister, Tamara Roesly; mother-in-law, Avril Christensen; brothers-in-law: Dain Christensen and Roger Henson; sister-in-law, Mary Coffey; and aunts Martha Lines and Marilyn Metz.
She was preceded in death by her sister Valerie Henson; brother, Mark Coffey; and father-in-law, Walter Christensen.
Visitation will be held Friday, July 1, from 10 AM to 12 PM in Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 8115 Oaklandon Road, Indianapolis. Funeral Services will begin at 12 noon. She will be laid to rest at Kezar Falls Burial Ground in Porter, Maine.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association or the Myositis Association.
