Patricia Ann Barker

Patricia “Pat” Barker, 73, of Indianapolis, passed away March 22^nd, 2021. She was born March 6^th, 1948, in Milton, Kentucky to parents Jim Thorn and Lorraine Luckett. Pat spent her childhood on an Indiana farm with her loving grandparents Roy and Esther.

On December 23^rd, 1972, Pat married the love of her life, Charles Barker. They shared 49 wonderful years together.

She worked for many years as a nurse’s aid at Westminster Village. Pat then worked for over 25 years at Toys R’ Us.

Pat was a loving, high-spirited lady. A Kentucky girl at heart, she loved to be in the sunshine. Pat loved to go boating and swimming. She also loved to cook and host gatherings for her family and friends. Pat always had a soft spot for animals and adored her many pets over the years.

She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Pat is survived by her loving husband Charlie and her son Chuck.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her siblings Scott Thorn, Debbie Thorn, Michael Thorn, and Barb Thorn.

Pat will have a memorial visitation Monday, March 29^th, from 4-6pm at Flanner Buchanan Washington Park East. Her memorial service will begin at 6pm. To virtually attend, please use this livestream link.
