Patrick G. Wolfred

Mar 5, 1950 — Jul 30, 2026

Indianapolis

Patrick G. "Pat" Wolfred, who departed this world on July 30, 2026. Born on March 5, 1950, in Indianapolis, Pat’s steadfast warmth, wisdom, and quiet strength have left his mark on every person privileged to know him.

He spent his career as a dedicated business partner with CCA, Inc. for many years, where his diligence, integrity, and work ethic earned not only the respect of colleagues but also the enduring friendship of many.

Pat enjoyed tending to his garden, “fixing” as the family handyman, and working on projects. Pat could often be found on the golf course or spending time at Lake Tippecanoe, a place he held dear, where laughter and family gatherings blossomed.

Pat’s life was a tapestry woven of devotion, humility, and abiding love, most especially for his family, whom he cherished above all else. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 24 years, Bethanne Wolfred, whose unwavering partnership made every day a new adventure, whether they were building a home together or simply relishing the comfort of each other’s presence. The memory of his laughter and the reassurance of his gentle hand will long remain in the hearts of his children, William Wolfred, Wendy Mehringer, and Scott Bastin. Pat’s legacy thrives in each of them, shaping their lives with the same care and integrity he offered so generously.

Pat took pride and delight in his grandchildren, Grace, Isabella “Bo”, Clare, Hank, and Emma; each one was a source of joy and wonder to him. He was always present at their sporting events while cheering them on. He found happiness in the ordinary, making every moment with them an occasion for smiles and gentle humor. His devotion extended to his siblings as well, Timothy Wolfred, Anne Brewer, Dan Wolfred, Maury Wolfred, Mary Manetta, and Richard Wolfred whose bonds with Pat were rooted in childhood memories.

Pat was preceded in death by his parents, Maurice G. and Audrey Wolfred and brother, Michael Wolfred.
