Otis B. Collins, of Indianapolis, died Monday, February 17, 2014 at the age of 103. He was born October 3, 1910 in Burkesville, Kentucky to the late John Forest and Loretta Murley Collins.
Otis retired from the Richardson Rubber Company in 1975. Before that, he helped his Country during World War II while working at an airplane factory. He could fix just about anything. He was a very compassionate man, and he never met a stranger. He will be dearly missed by all the friends and family he leaves behind.
Otis is survived by his children Rex Collins, Oleta (Ernal) Pitcock, Becky Brown, Peggy (Jim) Walden, and Debbie (Dale) Campbell; his sister Lafon Teaman; 18 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, and 46 great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Otis is preceded in death by his wives Dane Monday Collins, Loraine Reed Collins, and Maggie Wallace Collins, as well as 12 brothers and sisters.
