Orville Lee Charles, 74, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away March 17, 2020. He was born February 5, 1946 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Dewey and Katherine Charles Orville was a lifetime Indiana resident and attended George Washington High School. He retired from Trans City Terminal Warehouse, where he held many roles over his 40 year tenure. He was an avid car lover, from working on them to collecting and maintaining them, his favorite place to be was under the hood or in the driver's seat. Orville especially loved his Challenger and El Camino. He was a peaceful, loving man who enjoyed Elvis music and memorabilia but most of all, Orville loved his family. He cherished each and every one of them and loved to spoiled his grandkids, he was a true family man. His passing leaves an empty space in the hearts of those who were lucky enough to meet him; he was truly one of a kind and will be lovingly remembered by all. He is preceded in death by his parents, Dewey and Katherine. Surviving to cherish his memory are children, Donald (Kim Club) Charles, Robin (James) Jones, Candy (William) Whitaker, and Robbie Charles; grandchildren, Chasity, Brandon, Brittney, Dalton, Jasmine, Dakota, and Nathan; great-grandchild, Kaiden; siblings, Faye, George, Shirley, Judy, Kay, and Sherry; as well as a host of extended family members and friends.
