Orpah Mae Lee

Orpah Mae Lee, 88, passed away April 26, 2015. She was born April 8, 1927 in Quality, KY to William Fred and Florence (Givens) Smith. Orpah was a teacher in a one room school house in Dunbar, KY. in the late 1949's and early 1950's She had worked also as a diet aide and in housekeeping at the Northwest Manor nursing home in Indianapolis She was a member of Lynhurst Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School and former member of River Avenue Baptist Church. Orpah enjoyed crocheting, IU basketball and being with family and friends. Orpah is survived by sons, Ron (Mary Jane) Lee and Mark (Suana) Lee; daughter, Phyllis (Rick) Burkhart; 13 grandchildren; Ken Lee, Lisa Brackin, Jeff Dial, Angi Franco, Chris Lee, Jim Dial, Rod Burkhart, Stacey Burkhart, Joe Lee, Ashley Lee, Carrie Zamagias, Kate Lee, Zach Lee 19 great grandchildren: Paige Lee, Mia Lee, Gage Brackin, Chelsea-Jordan Brackin, Breana Brackin, Andrea Dial, Cassie Dial, Addison Dial, Hannah Heim, Hunter Heim, Connor Franco, Macey Lee, Rhett Dial, Solomon Dial, Isaac Dial, Konnor Burkhart, Korbin Burkhart, Brandon Lee, Cale Lee She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles Lee who passed away in July of 1969 and 5 brothers (Fillmore, Alfred, Royce, Boyce, James) and 1 sister.(Geneva) Visitation will be 4 until 8 pm Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at Flanner and Buchanan-Floral Park, 425 N. Holt Rd. Graveside service and burial will be Thursday, April 30, 2015 in Sandy Creek Cemetery, Morgantown, KY. With Smith Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
