Oliver H. 'O.H.' Porter

Oliver H. "O.H." Porter, III 78 of Indianapolis, IN, passed away December 27, 2012. He was born July 15, 1934 in Logansport, IN to Oliver H. and B. Geraldine Smith Porter. He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife of 49 years, Sandra L. Porter. He is survived by his children, Angela Sue (Gordon) Hyatt and Daren Ross Porter, sister, Suzanne Fiedler, brothers, Kent and Tom Porter and granddaughters, Madison and Riley. O.H. served in the US Marine Corp and worked as a Manufacturing Rep for Weingardt and Associates, Inc for 41 years. He was a member of Eastgate Christian Church and loved to travel, play golf and cook. Friends may visit with the family from 4-8 PM, Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at Flanner and Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St., Indianapolis, IN. The funeral will be held at 11 AM Thursday at the Funeral Center. Entombment will follow in Washington Park East Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Eastgate Christian Church, 8100 E. 16th St., Indianapolis, IN 46219.
