Oda Jean(Steele) Tipton

73 years old,

of Indianapolis, IN passed away on October 15, 2015 surrounded by her loving

family. Oda was known for her generous and giving sprit to all who knew her.

She was a proud government worker for over 30 years at the U.S Postal Services.

Oda enjoyed gardening, penny slot machines, and spending time with her family

which was her pride and joy.

Oda is

survived by her loving children, Teresa McCaslin (Tim, Sr.), Randy Steele

(Marla), Tommy Steele, Sr. (Melissa), Travis Steele, Sr. (Shea); 4 step

children and their families; 25 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; close

friend, Jan Zahm and like a son to Oda, Mark Bowling. She was preceded in death

by both loving husbands, her Soul mate, Ron Steele, Sr. and Best Friend, Don

Tipton; son, Ron Steele, Jr.; grandson, Tommy Steele, Jr.; parents, Walter and

Irene Smith; siblings, Bob, Carson, and Carol.

In lieu of

flowers Memorial Contributions may be made to the Humane Society of

Indianapolis.

may call from 4:00pm-8:00pm Tuesday, October 20, 2015 with funeral service

Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at 11:00am in Flanner and Buchanan-Memorial Park

9350 E. Washington St. Indianapolis.
