Octavia Williams

Ms. Octavia "Penny" (Gipson) Williams passed away peacefully on November 7, 2025, in Indianapolis, Indiana. 

She was born on August 14, 1959, and was lovingly known as "Penny" to those closest to her.

She is remembered with love by her sister LaTanya (Clarence), her brother Avery, and her three daughters: Shantell, Janelle, and Felicia (Larry). Her legacy continues through her three granddaughters—Nyla, LaTavia, and Leona—and two great-grandsons, Tony Jr. and Tonio. She also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews who will cherish her memory.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon, followed by her funeral service at 12:00 Noon - at Flanner Buchanan - Floral Park Funeral Center, located at 425 N. Holt Road, Indianapolis, IN 46222.

Burial will follow at Floral Park Cemetery.
