Oatley Floyd Austill

Floyd Austill, 88, Indianapolis passed away October 26, 2013 at Roudebush VA Medical Center. He was born December 24, 1924 in Folsomville, Warrick County, IN the son of the late Rosella (Hill) and Ira (Doc) Austill. Floyd was Pastor and Founder of True Gospel Assembly Church established in 1972. He has pastored since 1950 in various churches. He was a truck driver for Darling & Co. over 33 years, retiring in 1989. Army Veteran and Purple Heart recipient, Floyd honorably served during World War II. He is survived by his wife, Garnett L. Austill; daughters, Joyce Connell, Beverly Edenfield, Lisa Gay, and Randi Herrington; sons, Michael and Dennis Austill; 27 grandchildren; 57 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren and brothers, Bob and Lyle Austill. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Durbin; one sister and four brothers. Services will be 10:00 A.M. Friday, November 1, 2013 at Flanner and Buchanan-Floral Park, 425 N. Holt Rd. visitation will be from 4:00 until 8:00 P.M. Thursday, October 31, 2013 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Folsomville Cemetery, Folsomville, IN.
