Noxie Marie Brake

Noxie Marie Brake, 81, of Indianapolis, IN, was born in Burkesville, KY on Sept. 10, 1933 and died July 16, 2015 in Indpls., IN. She was married to James Eston Brake on January 7, 1952. Mrs. Brake was a dearly loved mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, and devoted caregiver of many children, elderly, handicapped, widows. She was an avid Pacers and Colts fan and devoted follower of Jesus Christ, her Lord Savior. She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, James Eston Brake, who died Sept. 10, 1998; her parents William Bedford and Nancy (Holman) Davidson; brothers, Howard, Arnold, and Edward Davidson; and sisters, Bethine Carter, Sue Wilson, and Mary Lee, and Roxie Simpson. Surviving are her brothers Bobby and Russell Davidson, sister, Betty Ferree; brother-in-law, Marshall Ferree, and two special nieces, Patty and Connie, two sons, James Randall (Connie) Brake of Indpls,IN, and Rex A. Brake of Mooreland, IN; special friend, Kathy Myers of Westfield, IN; grandchildren Thomas (Natalie) Brake, Avon, IN, Rachel Brake, New Castle, Joshua and Jonathon Brake, Indpls., IN, Chandra Boyd and Trisha (Matt) Dray, McCordsville; great grandchildren Toria Clemmons, Stephen and Jaspen Spears, New Castle, IN, Aiden, Logan and Kaitlyn Brake, Avon, IN, Madison and Tristan Dray, McCordsville, IN. A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday at Flanner and Buchanan-Washington Park North at 12pm in the Jazz Hall, officiated by Pastor John Sample. Sincerely, Flanner and Buchanan
