Norman L. Crouch, 91 of Indianapolis, IN passed away June 30, 2021. He was born April 12, 1930 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Rubert and Nellie (Balay) Crouch. Norman worked as a Driver and Dock Worker for Specter Freight before retiring. He served his country proudly in the U S Navy. Norman loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was a handyman, enjoyed fishing, loved telling stories, and grew a garden every year. After his retirement, he was known as the “Lawnmower Repair Man” as he ran a small business repairing mowers in his garage. All those who knew and loved him will dearly miss him. He is survived by his children, Jerry Crouch, Linda Reed, Janetta (Bob) Johnston, Mary Garner, seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and his sister, Donna Hancock. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Lois Jane Crouch, and his brother, Ira “Pat” Crouch. Service will be held on Wednesday, July 7, 2021, at 11 AM at Flanner Buchanan Floral Park with visitation there from 9 AM. He will be laid to rest at Floral Park Cemetery.
