Norman 'Big Ed' Bishop

Norman "Big Ed" Bishop 74, of Indianapolis passed away March 4, 2013. Edwin was born in Mississippi the son of Jessie and Sarah (Odom) Bishop. He loved any kind of racing but especially figure eight racing at the Indianapolis Speedrome with all of his friends. Edwin is survived by sisters, Doris Hart, Ruth Ann Johnson and Charlotte Armstrong all of Indianapolis; cousins, Henry and Harold Wayne Bishop from Mississippi; step-children, Wanda Yates, Billy, Michael and Scott Couture; several grandchildren and several nieces and nephews and cousins from Indiana, Mississippi and other states. A Celebration of his life will be held 1:00 PM, Friday, March 8, 2013 at Flanner and Buchanan-Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN, 46229.
