Norma Lee Scott, 84, passed away peacefully at home Saturday, March 16, 2013. She worked many years at the Michigan Road Animal Hospital until retirement.
Norma was an honorary member and past Supreme Officer of Delta Sigma Kappa Sorority and was also a member of the Zionsville United Methodist Church. She enjoyed many years at Lake Shafer and their second home in Nokomis Florida.
Norma was preceded in death by husband, Don; son, Greg; granddaughters, Crystal, Katy, and Lori; and great-granddaughter, Kelly Jo.
She is survived by 3 children, Sharon (Chuck) Hine, Brad (Donna) Scott, Alison (Joe) Vinci; 10 grandchildren, Brian (Tina) Scott, Marisa (Jason) Scott, Ed (Terri) Hine, Cheryil (Mark) McAtee, Mike Bear, Lisa (Michelle) Hine, Andy (Sabrina) Modesitt, Mandy (David) Crowe, Kimberly and Kristi Vinci; 13 great-grandchildren, Forrest, Tony, Rylynn, Dylan, Madelyn, Taylor, Jaden, Devan, Emily, Brian, Chris, Stacy, Michael; several nieces and nephews and many treasured friends.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm, Thursday, March 21, 2013 at Flanner and Buchanan-Zionsville. A memorial service celebrating Norma's life and faith will be 11 am, Friday, March 22, 2013 also at Flanner and Buchanan-Zionsville, Rev. Scott Tyring officiating. Burial will be at Zionsville Cemetery.
