Norma Jo Haines

Norma Haines was a loving wife, mother, stepmother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She left this world suddenly at the age of 90 on August 2, 2023.

Norma was born at home to James and Elise Layman on February 23, 1933, in Danville, Indiana. Norma is survived by her husband of 46 years William Haines, her children Mike (Francisco) Adams, Valerie (Joseph) Snyder, her stepsons Ted Haines and Tom (Debi) Haines, stepdaughter Susan (Kevin) Cauble, sister Paula (Danny) Breeden, brother Donald Layman, granddaughter Amanda Snyder, step-grandchildren Alex Cauble, Ian, Olivia, Evan, Jason, and Ryan Haines, step-great grandchildren Gavin and Sage Haines.

Norma loved to spend time with her family, attend church, play with her dog, travel, boat, fish, and play cards. Norma retired from Graphic Productions after 32 years of employment in 2001. Norma was a member of Calvary Baptist Church for over 20 years.

A memorial visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 8, 2023, from 12pm – 2pm at Flanner Buchanan Washington Park East; her funeral will begin at 2pm.
