Norma grew up on the East side of Indianapolis and graduated from Arsenal Technical High School in 1947.
Her first employment was with Lane Bryant in Indianapolis in the early 1950’s. After many years as a homemaker, she worked for American United Life (One America) from the early 1970’s until retiring in 1993. During retirement she worked part-time for Marsh stores as a floral designer until 2017.

Norma loved to travel globally by air and sea with the company of her family. Those trips included a cruise through the Panama Canal, the Caribbean, Hawaii, Europe, China, Japan, South America and countless destinations throughout the United States.
During her later years she treasured her five grandchildren and absolutely loved being their Grandmother. Through her actions and thoughtful gestures, she taught her family that what is most important in life is being there for each other.
