Norma J. Dearing Spears

Norma J. Spears (Dearing) 82, of Indianapolis, IN passed away February 21, 2013 surrounded by family. She was born October 7, 1930 in Bloomington, IN to Emery and Geneva Dearing. Norma's door was always open to everyone. Her strong-willed nature and caring hands will be missed by many. She is survived by her children Brenda (Tony) Jenkins, Beverly Osbourn, Diane Spears, Steve (Jeanie) Spears, Gregory (Darlene) Spears, Sherri (Jim) Jackson, Terri (John) Abney, and George Spears. Sister Sondra (David) Cooper, 18 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held 2-7pm Sunday, February 24, 2013 at Flanner and Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St., Indianapolis, IN. A celebration of Life service will be held at 11am Monday, February 25, 2013 at the funeral center burial will follow.
