Nora Irene Jordan, 88, of Indianapolis, passed away on Friday, January 4, 2019.

She was born on February 20, 1930 in Indianapolis to the late Clarence and Hazel (Allen) Brown.  Nora graduated from Arsenal Tech High School in 1948 and worked as an Inspector for Best Lock for over 30 years.  She was a longtime member of Ritter Avenue Free Methodist Church and enjoyed crochet and watching TV.

She is survived by her children, Dennis (Rosemary) Jordan, David (Scarlett Siegert) Jordan, Deborah (Ron) Purdue, Bruce (Aundrea Heisswolf) Jordan; sister, Kathryn Helwig; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  Nora was preceded in death by her parents; and sisters, Dora McKenna and Wilma Basham.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2019 from 10-11am at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East with funeral services immediately following. Burial will take place in Washington Park East Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Wheeler Mission.  Friends are invited to leave online condolences at www.flannerbuchanan.com.
