Nicole L. Repenning

Nicole L. Repenning passed on July 5, 2023, at the age of 53. Born in Bloomington, Indiana, she spent her life in Carmel and Zionsville, Indiana.

A 1987 Cathedral High School graduate, she enjoyed Drama Club and was a member of their State Championship tennis team. She graduated in the class of 1991 from the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, College of Design, Art, Architecture and Planning (DAAP). Her gift and passion was art. Awards starting in 7th grade continued through her career.

Her professional career as Midwest-South Regional Assistant at Bebe, women’s fashion icon group, took her on visits to Brussels and Milan. This spurred her love to travel. Later for fun, her favorite countries were Africa, Italy, Poland, Scotland, and most of Europe. Then, favorites in the USA were Alaska, California, the Southwest, and of course Florida and Wisconsin.

John and Nicole had a multitude of family including aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends; she loved them all. She will be remembered for her true kindness and warmth, always caring for others, listening to their story was her gift.

Nicole’s faith was her strength, guided by worship and gratefulness. God has granted her peace, let us be happy for her.

She will be missed by all, especially her wonderful husband John Repenning and daughters Anna, Cecilia, and Reis. She always claimed that in life, the girls were her greatest achievement.

Parents John and Fran Dattilo, brother Franco Dattilo, step-sister Gina Dattilo, step-brother Angelo Dattilo also survive, along with the Karto Family, her father David L and his wife Annie, and brother Travis.
