Nickolas (Nick) Ogrizovich, of Indianapolis, passed away at the age of 76 on April 29, 2025. He was born on January 4, 1949, in Germany, and immigrated with his parents to the United States in 1950. He was born to Dusan and Mara Ogrizovich, who were Serbian immigrants from former Yugoslavia. He is preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Michael Ogrizovich; and sister, Jovanka Ogrizovich. In his younger years, Nickolas worked as a skilled carpenter alongside his father; was mechanically inclined when it came to repairing cars or trucks; and was passionate about auto racing, boating, and fishing. In his later years, he enjoyed taking care of his pets; watching his favorite legal and detective shows and Colts and Pacers teams; and indulging in an occasional donut, or two, from Long’s Bakery.
He is survived by his cherished companion, Maryellen Wallace; daughter, Michelle (Pete) Beuscher; nephew, Michael Ogrizovich; two nieces, Katherine Ogrizovich and Leslye (Tucker) Fisher; and beloved cat and dog.
