Nicholas T. Stephens

Nicholas T. Stephens Nick Stephens, 26, formerly of Waynetown and Brownsburg, died October 20, 2013 at St. Vincent's Hospital in Indianapolis. Nick was the son of David Stephens and Mindy Hardesty Stephens. Nick suffered his whole life with frequent broken bones and respiratory problems due to being born with Osteogenesis-Imperfecta. His warm, bright personality caused all who knew him to admire his courage. Nick was preceded in death by his mother, Mindy Stephens and grandfather, David A. Stephens, Sr. Survivors include his father, David A. Stephens Jr., stepmother, Jody Stephens, sister, Cary Stephens, step siblings Aaron and Kaylee Williamson and Jacob Vallangeon; grandmother, Beverly Stephens, aunts Areaka (Jeff) Maddux and Michelle (Curt) Hadley of Wingate. His grandfather, Steven Hardesty of West Lafayette, grandmother Sheila Hodges of Indianapolis and aunt Shannon (Daniel) Cantu of San Antonio, TX, also survive. Visitation will be held Friday from 4-8pm at Flanner and Buchanan-Washington Park North, 2706 Kessler Blvd West Drive, Indianapolis, IN 46228. Funeral services will be held there on Saturday at 1pm.
