Nicholas B. Collins, 73, of Indianapolis, passed away on home on Tuesday, May 29, 2018.
He was born on May 31, 1944 in Indianapolis to the late David and Margaret (Kenney) Collins. Nick was an honorably discharged Vietnam Veteran and worked for several years with Raytheon prior to his retirement. He enjoyed bowling and playing softball, but his greatest love, especially later in life, was the time he spent with his family.
Nick is survived by his loving wife and devoted caretaker, Sandy (Baumgardner) Collins; children, Kimberly Jo Collins, Ronald Lewis Ridgon, Jr. and Amanda Lara. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 6 sisters and 4 brothers.
At Nick’s request, no services will be held. Friends are invited to leave online condolences for the family at www.flannerbuchanan.com. Cremation services entrusted to Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East.
