Neva J. Bayliff
95, Indianapolis, passed away January 9, 2013. She was born November 30, 1917 in Indianapolis, the daughter of Samuel Jarvis and Cora (Sprague) Jarvis. Neva had worked at Rhodes Beverage and PSI. She enjoyed watching the Indiana Pacers, playing cards and games, and golfing and even shot a hole-in-one at the Elks Country Club in Plainfield. Neva was active at Crestwood Village East, where she was the treasurer of the Building 2 Social Club. She married Clifford Bayliff, and their marriage lasted 72 years until his passing. Neva was also preceded in death by her daughter, Sandra Steele. She is survived by her son, Bill (Barbara) Bayliff; her grandchildren, Tamra (Tom) Cunningham, Tonya (Jeff) Starcher, Toni McGhee, Tara (Gary) Phelps, and Trent Bayliff; and 13 great-grandchildren and two great-great- grandchildren. A celebration of Neva's life will be on Monday, January 14 at 4 PM at Flanner and Buchanan- Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington Street, with calling from 3 PM until service time. Cremation will be accorded. Memorial gifts may be made to the American Heart Association.
