Nedra Belle (Stewart) Pettiford 79 of Indianapolis died January 01, 2011. Nedra was born March 16, 1931 in Marion IN to Carl Cleo and Gertrude Lenore (Claybrooks) Stewart. Nedra was a claims adjuster for Golden Rule Insurance Co. retiring in 1996. Prior to that she worked for General Tire and Rubber Co. in Marion, IN. She was a member of Allen Chapel A.M.E. She was preceded in death by her son Steven Leroy Pettiford and a brother Phillip Edward Stewart. A memorial calling will be held Friday January 07, 2011 from 3 PM to time of the memorial service at 4:00 PM at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center Washington Park North 2706 Kessler Blvd. W. Dr. Indianapolis, In 46228. Nedra’s memory will be cherished by her children Donnie M. (Linda) Pettiford, Andrea M. (Victor) Casey, Jill L. Pettiford, M. Faith (Stefan) Jones, Nedra B. Pettiford her daughter-in-law Carol L. Pettiford, grandchildren Damien, Stephanie, Serena, Matthew, Sharee, Marques, Taylor Pettiford, Breanna and Brandon Jones, Elizabeth and Dennis Moore Jr and ten great grandchildren and a brother David Michael (Barbara) Stewart.
